The Cremation Process

Step 1: Your loved one will be transferred from the place of death by our staff in a respectful and timely manner.

Step 2: Your loved one will be placed in the cremation container at our funeral home and daily monitoring will be made until your loved one is ready to be taken to the crematory along with the proper authorizations.

Step 3: A chain of custody form is to be documented.

Step 4: Legal authorizing documents will be obtained.

Step 5: We review all cremation paperwork and sign the cremation order before transportation to the crematory.

Step 6: The cremation process takes place. Only one body is cremated at a time. The name of the deceased, the date and time of the cremation, identification number, and any other info relating to the cremation is to be entered in the cremation log book.

Step 7: The cremated remains are returned to the funeral home. Disposition of the cremains takes place according to the instructions of the authorizing agent.
